Classic Cranberry Romero Street Glaze ~ Perfect Partner for BBQ’d Buffalo

Antiquity Cranberry Glaze

I first had this sauce with marinated roast buffalo at Antiquity one Christmas in the early 1908’s. I’m glad to see that both of us are still around and cooking.  I’ve made my version of it every holiday ever since. This sauce also serves as the base for my prized buffalo BBQ sauce.
3 cups cranberries
3/4 c. brown sugar
1/3 c. dried currents
1/3 c. water
1/4 tsp dry mustard
1/4 tsp allspice
1/8 tsp cardamon
1/8 tsp ground cloves
1/4 tsp ginger

Combine. Heat over medium heat 10 minutes. Let cool.
